I'm with the others, check the choke and make sure it isn't on.

OK.. Update..
I actually looked at the owners manual and followed the startup procedure... It says to move the Choke to the "engage" position.. Now, the lovely manual does show the choke lever but does not give an indication as to what is the "engaged" position.. The lever has a down arrow on the ned of it so I will assume that "down" is the "engaged" position. I set the choke, check the fuel petcock (it is on), and try and start. It turns over but does not fire up... for kicks I reverse the choke lever (just in case I have it reversed) and same. If I apply a little gas I can get it to go but turning off the choke will stall it. I checked the airbox and all looks well ( it is closed properly).. Obviously, I have to take it back to the dealer I just wanted to make sure I was not overlooking something... So, what do you all think...I read something about the fuel tank breather hose being obstructed?? Not sure about that...

That would be the little black hose coming off the gas cap and that is possible. Before you turn the choke off is the motor fully warmed up?

I agree let it run for a couple seconds with the choke on. See if it warms up and runs better. Is there anyone local that can help you out instead of the dealer? Just to make sure you are doing everything correct so that you don't have to pay to find out it is something simple? Just wondering.

OK.. Did as you suggested and had a freind look at it.. He got it going and it idles good. It ran for about 3-4 minutes and every time he tried to give it a little gas (from idle) it siezed.. He says it needs to be ridden and warmed up real good and it should not do that. Are they really finicky and need 5 minutes of good warmup time or what? It is annoying to say the least to have to be starting this thing all the time...

Thanks for all the tips..
