Default z400 exhaust?

Remember Walker some pipes are queit and other are very loud.
I have the HMF and its loud very loud but has a great mean sound.
Noise was not an issue at the time so HMF was my choice.I have the Quiet core for it too, still loud with it in heh.

I might have to look at the HMF pipe too. I was looking at the Yoshi pipe but if the HMF is just as good.... hmmm

I like the yoshi pipe. but it all depends on how much you are willing to spend.
you'll get lots of different opinions on pipes, so do your research before you decide to buy
and alba makes a good exhaust but it is loud
and are you wanting just the slip on or the full exhaust?

I might just pick up the Yoshi pipe I dont know I am just wondering about the best gains on a pretty much stock bike. I will just have the intake lid off and a full pipe. I love the sound of my wifes 250 though with the yoshi slip on! I want a full pipe though

slip-on like $275, go ahead and spend the money on the full. if not you will wish you had. i have heard for the z and kfx ,the 2 best is yoshi and curtis sparks. i think somebody else wrote about how suz.. and yoshi partner up race wise. thats why i got mine , i have read alot about them 2 working together.

i found a dyno chart and it says that the CT pipe gives the most power for the Z 400. i dont know how much they are but you might want to check it out. the site that i found the chart on was www.dirttdoggs.com check it out they have some good videos too its a pretty cool site

I wonder how much that CT pipe runs? I thought the Yoshi did better then that. I think that everyone that tests pipes always comes up with something different... bias...
