I have a friend who is 27 and weighs about 140 and he just put a dome-top piston and hot cams in his z400, and also had the head ported and polished. He broke his arm a few weeks afterwards. Therefore, I think it might be too much bike for you being 14 and all. Just kidding. As long as you set some limits and keep your head (and helmet) on straight, it should be just right for you if you feel conformable on it. Only you will know if it is too much bike for you. Mine goes fast enough for me with the type of riding I do. Also Suzuki is a better bike than Yamaha and the craptor.

Don't even give that 350 a second thought. Go with the Z, it's way more machine! This is a bike a beginner can learn on, yet an experienced rider won't get bored on it either. Keep the engine stock at first, and just be patient and take it real easy until you gain more experience and confidence on the machine. This is a machine that will help you be a better rider!
At 14 you will no doubt be doing some more growing, and this is a bike you can grow into. Later when you are ready for more power, this engine hops up really well.

Don't count out the Raptor350, it's a nice ride. A good friend of mine has one and he's very experienced. He also owns a couple Quad Racer 250s and bought the Raptor to cruise with his family and in the woods. He said it's about 1000 times better than the Warrior ever was. Much quicker and better handling.
Sure the z400 is a bike you could grow into but so is the Raptor. With mods the 350 will run with the 400ex pretty well. The z400 is ok for a beginner if you ride in the dunes but in the woods and on trails it's a lot of power for a newbie even in stock form.
Of course some newbies are naturals, and a lot less applies in that sense. Either way I think you'll be happy.

get the Z, i got one when i was 15 and i only weighed 130 then, it only took me a few weeks to get used too it. i thought it was perfect for me. you can handle it. also its a lot better all around machine for everything, and if you start to feel like its not powerful enough then theres plenty of mods you can do to it. its easier to use also.
