Default Z250 Exhaust Rattling

Something is rattling in the rear end of my Z250 and it sounds like it is coming from inside the exhaust. I was running it for a little bit without the spark arrester (it was soaking wet, I'm not stupid enough to run w/o it when its bone dry) and it gave it a little bit more of a throaty sound. I went on vacation for 2 weeks and came back home and started riding and it sounded REALLY throaty, like obnoxiously loud, so I put the spark arrester back in, and it still sounds throaty. And when I gas it above idle something raddles. Could a baffle be loose inside there or what?

that might be it, but befor you take it all apart you might want to just check and see that the spark arrestor is in there good and tight. the same thing happened to me when i took mine out then put it back in, i just put it in a little crooked and so the screw didnt go in tight and it rattled, so try and take the s/a out then put it back in

I took my spark arrester out this morning and looked up in there with a flashlight. The baffle is destroyed. It cracked at the welds along the sides and around where the circular opening and now a pretty big piece is missing. What can I do about this? Do I need to get a whole new exhaust or can I somehow fix that piece?

I have no idea how it got busted. I guess it just vibrated enough to crack the welds. I can't think of any other way that it could get messed up. I may just end up buying an aftermarket slip-on. Not really sure yet tho.

What would you guys recommend for an aftermarket slip-on?
