Yeah I will go with the outerwears lid and I will feel comfortable...

yes the outerwear will help. you have to realize when you ride in sand theirs alot of dust, so the dust goes on the filter and it makes it look light tan/brown, thats just showing that its filtering! I ride in sand pits where HUGE clouds of dust follow you everwhere. after a good day of riding i clean my filter, yes its all brown from the dust but when i look at my intake boots and whipe my fingers on them, not a smide of dirt! thats how you know if your filter is protecting your engine. good luck!

Thanks! Yeah I know the UNI is doing its job so when I open it up I am not too worried about it just want a little extra help just in case...

Edit: something like this I think will help me out too!

you will notice a big difference if you rejet, otherwise you are just leaning the engine out. Need more gas to go with more air!!! I got genuine mikuni jets at www.jetsrus.com for mine and with the airbox of it really helped alot
