Heinen's Suzuki Vinson 500/LTZ400 HIGH PERF. CDI BOX

Has any one tied one of these High Performance CDI Boxes? If you did, did you notice any difference in performance? Did you have any problems with it? Any info would be great.

Mine going to be here in a few days, which is why I asked. I paid $72 shipped off ebay which is the cheapest price I've seen so far for that specific one (I seen the same one go for almost $130 a week ago LOL). I just hope it does cause any problems. I'll give a report on it once I test it out.

Please do post your impressions after you install it. I've talked with sport quad owners who have used other CDIs and they claim big performance boosts. But, Heinen's is the only brand that I've seen around for the Vinson. If it boots by as much as it claims, it would be a good buy. IF???

IT DOES NOT WORK ON THE VINSON. And when I mean it does not work, I mean the machine will not even start once installed. I personally did not try mine since there were other people complaining on another forum so I contacted the company directly and they said it only works on the ltz 400 only even thought it was listed for the Vinson also. They refunding my money in full, plus shipping cost.

Thanks for the heads-up! I had considered one of these, but after the Prairie results, thought better of it. If you want more power-jet, filter, and pipe it. You've already done that, so, the next step is either buy a big-bore, or bore and cam your Vinson. Depending on how much mud you ride, I got a noticeable (believe it or not) difference out of those little Uni Filter lid inserts. I got 2 sets, and after removing the little filters, filled the second set with hot glue for use when big mud/water is on the menu. Just a thought.
