When I got my Z-250 it was awesome for the first few months and then i noticed that i needed a little more power, I am 6' 2" and 155pds. I am now looking at the 400's which i should have been from the start. It is going to end up costing me a lot more than if i would have just bought a 400 in the beggining. So if you want your son to not outgrow his quad then get the 400. It is awesome.
