That quad is really nice, you did a great job on it. Very sorry to hear about your brother, but he would be proud of what you did with his machine, good luck with it.

Cost....hmmm............. well, enough to buy another brand new KFX700 and more. It's not about the money, I wanted to build the baddest KFX 400 that I've ever seen, and I really don't think I'm there yet. I think I have a good start though and I hope it only gets better. I haven't been riding anywhere around here yet, although I've heard there are a few places down in Stafford and theres always Bud Creek in MD. I know there are loads of ORV parks in Western VA in the mountains. Better yet, where do YOU go riding???? I NEED Places to ride!!!

Oh yeah, I fired the engine today and that thing sounds freakin awsome!!! The pipe was cherry red in like a minute so I pretty sure I'm still running really lean. I might try going to a 160 primary next week. My A-arms didnt come in, so still waiting to put the front suspension together.

I ADDED A COUPLE MORE PICS TOO

Anyone Notice I mounted one of the rear tires backwards??? And it only took me 45mins to do it!!! DAMN YOU BEADLOCKS!!! Anyways, don't worry I'll change it around when I get some time.

well there is miles and miles or trails down in herndon va about half and hour north of me 45 minutes north of you....its not too hard to find and totaly worth it....my quad is very low in the rear though so I am always getting caught on rocks when I pass through small creeks and such but with tires a little bigger I should be ok...what type of riding do you do? (trail, race, both ect)

lately none, but mostly trail, fun riding, used to dune alot in oklahoma at LITTLE SAHARA, nothing serious yet, but now that I have a bike to race, I might dip into that a little bit.

I'm kinda worried about my rear clearance now too with the 18" Kendas out back. I probably shouldve went 22 front / 20 rear instead of 20/18. I still have the stock set if I get too hung up.

Where at in Herndon?? Around the Airport?? Great Falls Natl park?
