Default Z250 as first quad?

It is nice man i am not going to lie. They are just well a 250.. I like to have the 400 with that extra power. For the first quad though it might not be that bad I guess..

Im not a tiny guy, at 175lbs I can get my stock (+full skids) '05 z250 to do 53-54 on a straightaway (GPS / Spedometer). I see people claiming 40's and I have to wonder if they have some hidden agenda (or I just got a super 250) by downplaying the quads speed.

What kind of mods do you have? Maybe I need to re-jet the 250... wife got 46-47 on hers on the GPS...

EDIT: My wife is about 105 lbs too...

Would the altitude hurt that much?
