Default z-400 mods

Hi,

Im looking at getting a set of nerf bars for my z-400 and suping it up to start racing mx and xc this upcoming year with the cmrc. Ive been looking at DG stainless series (I want to stay away from a full race nerf so I can with the heelguards on for trail and off for racing). However it looks like the nerfs dont bolt through the footpegs like they do on the 400ex, raptor, predator, etc. Can I still use these nerfs and run without the heelguards and have my stock footpegs without any problems? Would the mods I have listed in my signature be overboard for racing a few mx and xc races in the spring/summer or should i make some changes? thanks

in my opinion i would look at ac nerfs or the x -factor nerfs.i don't think the dg nerf's are very good .yeah they might be cheaper but you want something that will last .pro-armor makes some good nerfs too.i sometimes race xc and since i put my x- factor nerfs on i will never race without nerf bars now they have saved me lots of times don't race without them

I have the alba nerf bars and they bolt on to the footpegs. They are nice. You can see them in my pics.
