That sound sweet, though it looks like I had the "R" in the wrong place in the name given in my sig...

You are correct, actually John Natalie Jr. won the Pro class. However, these bikes are far from stock. Stock for stock right now, the 450R is slightly behind the YFZ. When I talk about performance levels of these quads and one being better than the next, I'm referring to bone stock machines. After full mods, it's up to the rider.

well chris borich does very well on his honda and they say its stock 450r,but he got like 8k in custom axis shocks too.i don't care for john natille he does not race clean soon or later that will catch up to him.tim farr is a class act guy and was coming on strong in the end.i hope honda will have something for yamaha and suzuki but i don't think it will be this year.they better do something big for 2007model because you'll have the suzuki ltz450r and the rumor that the 2007 yfz will be all new from the ground up.i think the two big dogs in the 450class for 2006 and 2007 are going to be yamaha and suzuki, unless honda wakes up

Don't rule anything out. If the shocks are long travel anything is possible... especially at this stage in the speculation game. Standard Showa and Kayaba shocks have been a part of plenty race winning suspensions on bikes. If Suzuki doesn't go too cheap on the front shocks, we may just be lucky enough to re-valve rather than replace the LT-R450's shocks. Wouldn't that be nice?

Does this mean some of what you saw is not what we're going to get.

I can't answer that for you.

Under contractual agreement.
