Going to Colorado on friday and will be riding ATV's for a couple of weeks. The question is how will it perform at 10-12K feet? I was told by a friend that I needed to change the jet and adjust the needle. The factory jet is a 135 so I'm thinking I need a 130 (132.5) is in between. I also dropped the needle two notches. If anyone thinks this is a mistake please let me know, also reply if you think we are right. I'm new to this stuff and I love this quad - would hate to mess it up.

I ride 7-9000" up here in Big Bear. Stock, my quadmaster cut out a lot at higher RPMs. I installed a K&N and jetted down to 127.5. Runs great, but it's still a little fat. At this setting, I've ridden down to high desert at 4000' without a too lean condition. I figure if I go lower, I should be able to pop in the stock air cleaner, avoiding a too lean condition.
