Big Gun rev box on z400
#2
I still have one sitting on my bench (I think)
all it will do is give you an extra 1000 rpm
it wont change the power curve any.
I would get a dyna cdi for it if they make it for that year
how do you like the 06 Z400?

I lovr it!!! I've only really ridden it once, that was Monday. I bought it Friday but I had my Daughter this weekend so all I could do was think about riding it!!! I drove the stock skid through the brake roter and bent at least 2 of the rims. Too dark to check out when I got back. I went on the big gun site and it says +1200 rpm and advances ignition curve. Did you run yours yet?

on my quad the cdi from big gun didnt help me much. I bet they changed it a little for the newer models
so you already bent a few parts. you sound like a hard core rider.
do some research on them. just because it didnt work for me doesnt mean it didnt work for somebody else
ride safe

Well when we were younger we (me + 2 bros) were. I wouldn't consider it hardcore, just keeping up. Running through the woods on these trails all washed out rocks, bad, 4th gear full throttle. lol I almost bit it on a few trees and boulders. Older brother has 04 yfz450, younger brother has 01 400ex. My younger brother definetely rides the hardest. Just getting back into it. I'm almost 28 and haven't had a quad since I was 16.

this is my first quad ever. got it new and I'll be 45 in a month
I used to ride hard and fast but after 2 crashes I slowed down alot
and my body takes longer to heal than it did 20 years ago
