Does anyone no how to get anymore power out of this machine ? I already removed the washer in the exaust. This has to be the slowest non climbing 50cc machine in this class I like the big name quads but this is a DOG.

It shouldn't be a dog. I had one of these when I was a kid. It would haul my 300+ lb father around. My Dad welded a really thick washer to the grabbar for a trailer hitch and put the lawn tractor trailer on it. I remember pulling my Dad up a hill while he was in the trailer. Even when we were too big for it we still rode it around for fun.

Do a search on the lt 50 and you'll find lots of info. There is also a restrictor in the intake and one under the main jet.

Do a search in the kids quad section and you'll see some of the stuff we've done to these little quads to get 'em going. I did a little work to my sons and it will get goin' pretty good now......

I know this is a old thread but I too have a 2002 Lt 50 that just plain sucks performance wise. I did remove the restriction in the exhaust gasket but did not know of any other restrictions on the bike. Any info on this and how to get rid of the restrictions would be mighty appreciated! I looked in the kids section but did not find what I was looking for (probably my faught)

Thanks!
