Default Eiger shocks question

I hung a snow plow on my 02 Eiger, and found the plow to alomst be too heavy for stock shocks. Anyone have this problem, and what shocks did you replace with. Dealer said stock shock specs were not avail (?) so he couldnt reccomend aftermarket shocks w/ out knowing stock spring tension. Any thoughts?

It's not the shocks, the stock springs are too weak. Get stiffer springs. That'll take care of it.

Default Eiger shocks question

Any idea if the stock shock springs can be removed easily? And, any spring suggestions? Dealer said no way to tell stiffness of stock springs, thus it would be hard to determine what new springs to buy? Thx

I'm going to try to make 1" spacers to shim some compression into the springs(if I ever get time!). This should work, I have a 60" plow and weigh 240 lbs so I need to try something. I'll post back on how it works hopefully soon.

I added a Warn country 52" plow and a Warn 3.0 winch. Mine sat perfect and has worked perfect.
