wait...if it said lt 250 its gotta be the lt250R...it's definately not for the ltz250

Old thread eh? The 273 kit is for a 1989 or 1990 LT250s quadsport.

More power? New exhaust, bigger carb, KN air filter are some simple things. High comp piston, bigger valves and porting job, and cam would be the more complicated things.

my first mod was a hotcams stage 2 kit for my z250, it helps a lot in the higher rpm's so u can pull up a hill much better. plus its cheap... only about $170

When I got my 2004 ltz250 all it had was a jardine exaust but it got boring quick. Then over the winter I put in a dynojet jet kit which made a big difference. Then I put in a K&N air filter which made a litter bit of a difference from the old air filter. After that I put in an aftermarket ignition coil which made a big difference and gave it alot more power for little money. Before I made these mods I had a hard time making it up the big hills at the trails and now I have no problem going up those hills in 2nd gear.

With a jardine exaust, dynojet jet kit, K&N air filter and an aftermarket ignition coil my ltz250 has no problem keeping up with a honda 300ex and can keep up with the 400s
