Default Ozark replacement shocks?

I am looking for some new shocks for the Ozark, anyone done this? Do the LTZ250 shocks fit? I called works and they make them for the LTZ but they said there was nothing in their catalog for Ozark. She needs a smoother ride, the thing is like a buckboard!!!

A buckboard? I think my Ozark rides fairly smoothly but it can't compare to a high-end ute ride. No way.

As for the shocks, unfortunately I have found almost NOTHING for aftermarket stuff for the Ozark.

z-250 shocks would fit with light mods but they arn't a whole lot better.

what exactly do you mean by "light mods"? i heard that they gave you 6.1 inches of travel compared to the stock 5.5 inches.

That is true, but they are also stiffer. If you want a smoother ride, add more weight. That is the simplest and cheapest way to get a smoother ride.
