Default I got prices and question for 05 vinson 500 auto camo

Just got back from dealer......a little better than buying a car. 2005 Vinson Camo Auto with a 54" Plow and 2.5 warn winch all mounted an OTD is $7450. Two dealers...waiting for a phone call on the second. I know I can do way better.. Looking for under 7k. Vinson seemd real open in the front.....mounted winch stuck out about 1/3 of the way on the housing side, right side of the quad, looking at the quad front on. Will this be a problem? Will it put the winch in harms way from sticks, brush,mud.....both Sales people said NEVER a problem with vinson belts. So comparing the Honda 500 rubicon auto in green, the honda guy said they are way more reliable and tough. But they wanted 8100 out the door for the above machine with a 60"plow with side shields and 2.5 Warn winch all mounted. Well guys talk me into the Suzuki........THANKS

Yep, the hondas are overpriced. I got quoted 8100 out the door for an 05 Rubicon 500 with a 2.5warn and a 60" plow with side shields installed. Thanks for the info on the quad. I'm definately going with the vinson I just need to get the right price. QUESTION.....DO you really need to do the 10hour service...I have heard that is cost 250+bucks and the main thing is the valve adjustment. Let me know. Let me know what it costs if you will. 7k not bad. I guess I'm pretty close with 7500. I'm going to try and get the 60"plow with side shields. I'll let you know. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

Well they sold the 2005 to someone else so they want to give me an 06 for 7320. I'll put the stuff on myself. Ever had downhill breaking problems...almost was talked into a honda rubicon because friend said belts are not that good compared to honda trannies. Said dynamic engine breaking system on Vinson sucks that is why they put the big discs on it...says you can freewheel downhill on a vinson...is that true....if it is that is scary....

ive been down some pretty steep stuff out here in the mountains of utah and ive had no problem with freewheeling, the big brakes are nice though to help stop the 600 lb machine.

you can save $200 by getting the manual and it has a lot more power and no belt to have to worry with. 220 trouble free miles on mine so far and i luv it.

Well....I just sealed the deal...HONDA 2005 Rubicon with a 2.5ci Warn winch(mounted) and a 50" Moose snowplow for 7400 out the door. Could not pass it up. Thanks for all the help. It came down to the tranny and the body and the reliability and what I'm going to use it for(plowing, hunting and light trails). I need the auto becaus the wife is going to drive it. But thanks again and I'll let you know if I have any problems.
