Default z400 tires

ok lookin for some new rubber on the Z, i do all kinds of riding, mostly trails, and "quicker" trail riding, im thinking radial razrs "i-razrs", but not sure, i have razr's on my old 250x and have been impressed with them, what are thoughts on razr's, irazrs, razr 2s, holeshots (i hear soft, good traction but wear down quick), and kenda klaw, im lookin for good tread life but still good bite. thanx

Kenda Klaw's are a great tire, they seem to be very durable. Only drawback is they are a little heavy. For a "value" tire I like the Turf Tamer. Been around forever and cheap compared to some of the other tires.

alright thanx to all of you, im down to razr 2's or i-razrs, just because holeshots r too soft in my opinion.

If you ride more mud, sand, trails, loose dirt and want maximum hook up get the razr 2's. If you want to have alittle more fun spinning out and fish tailing get the i-razrs.

alright thanx, i think im goin to go with the razr 2's because even tho i do like my stock radials and love donuts/sliding, it feels like they almost slide too much, and i would rather a really good hook up.

I have never run the razr 2's but I am running the I-razrs on my bike. But I will tell you if you want to hook these are the tires for you. They are expensive but the are well worth the money. If you get in the mud with them and you spin you will throw chunks. If you have enough power to spin them you will dig ditches with them with you spin. These are the best hooking tires I have ever ran.

o amen to that, when i sit on my bike with prolly 40% tread left on my stock dunlops, with front brake pinned and drop the clutch in 2nd gear, it not only throws a roost 15 ft high, 20 ft back but it will dig a trench with my tires easily 4-5in deep. ive decided on the i-razrs, which i was leaning towards all along, even tho i said the razr 2's in one of my previous posts, because im so impressed with radials.
