Any other King owners get a notice in the mail from Suzuki wanting you to get your tie rods either replaced and/or adjusted?

So tie rod ends.....is that going to do anything for the sometimes "nervous" handling people report? I myself have never experienced it, but apparently it's there with so many people complaining.

I just got my letter in yesterday. It does say, "Suzuki will replace the steering tie rod ends and associated parts as an assembly." That sounds right!

I called my local Suzuki shop and they don't have the parts yet. They expect them soon, but, I wonder why they send the letter before they ship parts to their dealerships and then say in the letter, "DO NOT OPERATE UNTIL THE REPAIR HAS BEEN COMPLETED." ------------- I know they need to say that, but, well you know...........

Called my dealer, here is an FYI on this recall. Check the part number of the tie-rod ends; if it begins with an AL they need to be replaced, if the part number begins with a BL then they are the new ones. He told me that they will be replacing the tie-rods ends and the tie-rods also, they are coming in a 'kit' from Suzuki. He expects to have his parts in this week.

Local dealer says he is only replacing tie-rod ends. Are there many dealers replacing tie rods also..... or does turilla have a
great service manager?
