2005 z400 vs. 2005 trx400

ok im looking to buy one of these in the spring and i dont know which is better for everything. i would ride around my house alot i have some open fields and a gravel pit which is a blast to ride at! and also at the sand dunes. i want to know which has better handling, power and suspention. and also which would win in a flat drag.

The are both awesome quads, for the suspension the z seems to have better set up and the power is almost egual....I would say go out and get a feel for wich one u want.

Yup, Z. It just has a bit of an edge over the EX in quite a few categories, and it has more potential with mods as well. Nothing wrong with the EX except Honda dealers tend to be very proud of that model for some reason.

The Z has a little bit of an edge on performance in all areas over the EX. So if your wanting a little more performance, go with the Z. I have owned both and they both are pretty much bullet proof.
