Default Pro Armor Swingarm Protector Question

I cracked the shock linkage protector on a ride last weekend and I'm thinking about upgrading to the Pro Armor swing arm plate. Does anybody know if it covers the swing arm and the shock linkage? I bought one for my 450R, and it covers the shock linkage, but the stock stuff on the Z has a separate piece for the shock and swing arm.

Also, the tail light tried to stop a tailgating Ozark and it paid the ultimate price. This is the 4th tail light to bite the dust. Should I give up on stock tail lights and tape one on the seat??? LOL
