I have 13 on the front and 41 on the rear. You lose a little top end but have awesome acceleration. Great for the dunes, trail riding, etc.. You can use the stock chain also.

I have a 13 on mine with a similar bike setup (see my sig). I ride mostly dunes but occasional trails and I like the 13 tooth. If you were riding dunes and your bike was stock I would try the 12, but with the pipe it pulls good with the 13. I like the 13 for trails too because it allows you to ride slower without stalling.

Yes I did head home after work yesterday and looked at the bike and noticed that there was a 13 tooth no 12 tooth on the front... oops... I love the 13 tooth it really woke her up! One of the best mds so far until the Athena kit gets here

Hey Guys, It is nearing the day (Monday), When my 13T front Sprocket will be here for install!

Does the chain need to be adjusted since I am loosing a tooth?

If so, is there any tips anyone can give me for adjusting the chain?

Thanks!

you'll just have to tighten it, you won't have to take a link out. if you have your manuel it say leave a about a inch slack in chain , i left about a half. good luck , hope you like it

dont tighten the chain to tight i could snap, not too loose it could fall off.
measure what your stock chain is at then do the 13 tooth to the same
