i rode today for a couple hours. nothing out of the ordinary. well when i got home i was washing it and when i finished i put it in gear and tried to drive away well when i gave it any gas at all the engine just reved up and nothing happened. it wouldnt hardly go anywhere but slow. is my transmission bad, did something get wet that isnt supposed to. i hope this is nothing bad but i let it sit for a couple hours and went out and tried it again but to no avail. when you give it gas the engine just revs and it doesnt take off fast like normal. please give me some input or things to try if you know anything about this. thanks so much.

 

it could be, water in the belt cover, almost dead belt,clutch not engaging corectly...


just pull off the belt cover and look if its all wet or bad, that proly your problem.

 

is that a problem that will need some fixing or will it just dry. thanks for the reply though

 

most likely got water inside the clutch assembly, you're belt is wet....did you spray it with a pressure washer? if you did, don't....it will blast water in all kinds of places it shouldn't be....

there should be a drain on your housing for the clutch, pull the drain plug and let it drain and dry and it will be fine
