Not sure what to sell it for. 27" mudlites on maxxis wheels. hmf exaust. recall work done. some scratches due to trail riding but still in great shape. only 500 miles. Looking for anyone to inform me on the going price or a website that can determine the value. anything helps. thanks

I politely disagree. I know around here that the 4X4 utes hold their value pretty well! You may not get 6,000 but you should get more than 4,000 for sure. You only have 500 miles with those 27" Mudlites and rims. I would think you could sell it for $500 less than what someone could buy a new one for...........$500 is a nice chunk off and you have upgraded the tires/rims......call around to dealers and see what their last remaining '05 KQ's are going for? I wouldn't think you would get less than 5,500.....but that is my opinion.

Stocks, all ATVs hold their price until you try to sell them........I recently sold a used Honda Rincon for 4500.00 it was two yrs old...my dealer(Who sells Hondas and Suzukis) said I got a fair price......I did sell it to some one I know..that helps...the Rincon was 7500.00 new...

pwillie,
no explanation needed....I think we are actually on the same page! I believe that he will get $5,500 min for the KQ because it only has 500 miles AND he has expensive 27" mudlites and rims! Your Rincon had a whole entire year on him and you got $4,500. I know the Rincon has a little higher msrp but I have heard time and time again that when it is all said and done they both get out the door a lot closer in price, brand new, than the 500 difference or so that the KQ and Rin have msrp wise.
I know the price starts to drop like a new car being driven off the lot! I just think he will do ok because it is an '05, the '06's JUST are coming out, he only has 500 miles, and he has spent probably $700 on those tires and rims.
One thing I have found is that a mile is close to a dollar when looking at asking prices in the paper and online.....I don't think it always holds true but in this case I think it is valid. Take the LOWEST price that someone could get an '05 KQ otd TODAY (say 6,000......) and knock off $500 because he has 500 miles (or $1,500 because he rode more and already accumulated 1,500 miles....it is actually pretty close and funny that it works like that) That puts him at $5,500 or so....but again he also has the NICE tires/rims going for him!
Who knows for sure! A lot depends on his area!

Two stock KQs sold on Ebay last month for $5,300 each. They were in Colorado if that makes a difference. I can't remember the miles on them. One was past the magic vin number and the other was before the magic number.
