Default New King Quad ..... 100Hour service Question

I picked up a 2005 King Quad with only 16 hours on it. Manual says I need to inspect/adjust valves
at 100 hours which I want to do myself.

Are there any links on how to do this?

Thanks

This is a shim and bucket set up you might just want to take it to a shop because you have to remove the cams to change the shims

Default New King Quad ..... 100Hour service Question

4FITTY

I found the information in the shop manual. It looks like I can check the clearances with out removing
the cam....... but if they are out of spec, I'll need to take it in to a shop.

It may not require removing or replacing shims if I'm lucky and they are within the tolerances.

IN: .10mm - .20mm
EX: .20mm - .30mm

Does that sound right?

Here is the shop manual page Click
