I just bought one of these and it needs some work. It needs front and rear fenders and most probably some clutch work. What is the best source for relatively inexpensive fenders (aftermarket?) and what can I expect to pay for all of the steel and fiber plates from Suzuki and/or Barnett?
Is there a website that caters to the quadrunners and does anyone sell a factory service manual on a CD? In addition,
what is involved in pulling the clutch cover off? I have never messed with that sideways kick starter?
Thanks,
Joe

I knew Quadrunner didnt seem right!
I just bought a complete clutch assembly on Ebay for $75. It included all of the steel plates, Fiber plates, springs and gaskets. I am leary that I may need more parts though as the arm that comes out of the cases was jammed. I wont know until I get back to Cal and bring the quad home with me to AZ to tear it apart.
Can anyone give me any pointers on the clutch cover as I have never dealt with that sideways kickstarter. There must be a ton of monkey motion going on there.
Are there any websites that are dedicated to either Sukuki and/or Quadsports?
Thanks,
Joe

The kickstart isn't that bad really. If i remember right, there is just a rod that the kicker is connected to and inside the case there is a gear. The gear when kicked turns another gear which turns the motor over. As long as you have a service manual then you should be fine. If you don't have one let me know and i will copy the pages that you need and send them or email them to you or something.

I have an 89 LT250S taking up space in my garage. It's pretty hard to find any aftermarket parts for that bike since it was only made for two years. I did buy some new plastic for it awhile back, but of course that had to come from the dealer since nobody else ever made plastic for that bike. Not cheap. I also have the service manual and some other spare parts. So if anybody needs something, let me know.
