85-86 quadracer -vs- 87&up

Default 85-86 quadracer -vs- 87&up

so what do you quys think of the older 85-86 compared to the 87& up quadracers???....still about the same speed???

Default 85-86 quadracer -vs- 87&up

No, the '87 and up have a higher top end speed, and accelerate quicker to boot. The 6-speed tranny is nice, wish the newer quads would come with them too. They also handle better and are easier to find parts for. Where the '85/6 shines is in simplicity and low end power. I like mine[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Default 85-86 quadracer -vs- 87&up

The 85-86 is also very light. 297 lbs dry.
