Default Eiger Celebration Model / 06

Hi Everyone, I still haven't bought an Eiger but I better hurry cause the promotion ends 12/31.
I was wondering if anyone has bought the 06 Commemorative model ?
If so do you like it & do you think it's worth the extra $ ? The dealer here wants
$ 5699. plus $ 378 for freight plus tax and lic. Sounds awful high , but it sure is
a beautiful quad. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks Steve

It looks like the only difference is a winch, shroud, and bumper. As much of a discount as you can get on a regular Eiger, I'd probably make my own and save a few bucks (but then again, I am notoriously cheap).

I just read the article in ATVaction and to me it seems like a good deal. According to the magazine you get a Warn 2.5ci winch, heavy duty front bumpers (it did say bumpers (?) ), and alum front shrouds for $350. The front bumper pictured is the smaller type that Suzuki puts down low in the front middle but for some reason it looks a lot better than the Suzuki KQ front bumper. Just seeing it in the mag I think it actually looks pretty good.

I think it isn't a bad deal at all and the real kicker is if the dealer installed both for you with that price....that may be the deciding factor for me...as well as getting a good overall price on the quad to begin with because you hear about their $69 winch deal but also that dealers won't give that unless you pay full msrp or close to it.

ATVaction's small write-up on it is on page 10 of the Jan '06 issue I received in the mail yesterday.

Thanks for your replys. Right now I can get an 05 Eiger/ 5 speed with the $69. winch deal for
$ 4699. plus tax . No freight or setup fees. This is the same dealer that has the Celebration
model. For the extra 1k I don't think it's really worth it. I am probably wrong though.
That Celebration model is in black, I would never want to take it out of my garage, afraid
it would get dirty. I hate delemas. Probably misspelled. Steve

I can't offer an opinion not owning an Eiger but part of the difference at $1,000 now, from what you said, is that the other one is a manual.

Good point I didn't think about that. I do want a 5 speed though which does lower the price.

$4699 OTD seems like a great price for the 5-speed, the dealer probably wants to mvoe the '05 stock to make room for the '06s (even though there's nothing different between the two). I got an '05 auto for $5275 OTD.
