lt 250r

hey, what you guys think about a lt 250r ? are they dependable in cold weather? cause i want to ice race it but not sure if it will blow up if its like 20 degrees. thanx

Absolutely, you will need to richen up your jetting probably 2 jet sizes on the main and raise the needle and drop the clip one position from what ever your summertime jetting specs are. The LT250R is one of the best ice quads ever, you should do very well.

My girlfriend owns an LT250R and she loves it.
I like it to but you really do have to watch the jetting in the winter. Last year she blow her engine and I had to rebuild it, it was fun but exspensive for her. After I rebuilt it I bought her a set of main jet's from a 230 up to 270. Their only a $1.50 a piece, spending the six bucks on jets is a lot better than $250 on the engine.
If you want my oppinion get one you'll love it.
