If you could have either one which would you prefer?....and why would you prefer it

 

i would prefer z400 because it is smaller for trails but it stills has good speed...but thats just my riding area......ive heard raptors like to pop up alot when urace and stuff..... my opinion

 

nimbleness is important where I ride......which of the two has better acceleration ......and does anyone know top speeds for them??

 

I youve got the $ for either one ide go with the raptor. The raptor is a new quad this year, new motor (FI), and supposedly more dependabe/bulletproof, over some of the downfalls it had as a 660.new deminsions the whole deal. supposedly got rid of a lot of the tendency to be light in the front, less top heavy, lower seat height etc etc etc. 700cc fuel injection, or 400cc carbed, ide go with the raptor. I dont like to be biased to one or another brand , they all have good quads but i think the raptor definately is the choice in this pic!

I know a place where I can get the raptor for a couple hundred more then the z so......I would lean more towards the raptor....but anymore advice would be great

The Z is much closer to the EX performance wise than it is to a Rappy 700.
Both the Z and Raptor pretty much do the same thing, just think of the Raptor as a Z with ALOT more power........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

The raptor is good for almost anything besides racing (450cc limit). The raptor is a bit faster too. The Z is pretty light, jumps good, handles good, great for trails, awesome for wheelies, smooth power. I havent ridden a 700 yet but Ive heard a lot about them.

I say Z for trails/ track
Raptor for any condition. Z might be a little better in the trails handling wise but its hard to beat the raptors pure HP. Cant really go wrong with either one. I love my Z.
