I can't wait untill the lakes freeze enough to ride on..We set up an oval track with cones last year and studded out the tires with sheet metal screws and it was the best time I've ever had on a quad. This year I bought racing studs with the V shaped head and 1/2" shank. Anyone one else flat track race on the ice?

 

You won't believe the difference real ice screws have over sheet metal screws.

 

for some reason ice racing hasn't caught on here in New Mexico. yeah yeah, what a smart ***, i know. i bet it would be fun.
