Default NEEDEN SOME HELP PLEASE!

Put new shoes on front along with new wheel cylinders,brake handle moves freely when pulled but no brakesi did drain old fluid outta system as i removed brakes and cylinders,what should i try next,are they any adjustments on brakes them selfs or mabee i need to bleed system ,when i compress brake handle brake fluid disaperes in site glass .what is proper way to do this, I have a 94 mod.quadrunner,Thanks in advance for any help,PAUL.

Default NEEDEN SOME HELP PLEASE!

Hey there in 6 years I havent had to do front brakes on any of my bikes but I know if you ever crack the zert open and let out fluid you have to bleed them and get the air out of the system. always if you drain it. Apply pressure to brakes, open zert (while maintaining pressure) close zert. pump brakes and repeat... im not familliar with your quad but try it....Hope it helps.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Anytime you drain brake line's or even disconect them for any reason, You Will need to bleed the system. Easy to do. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
