Guys,
We have been in discussion with suzuki for 3 days now, and think we are making progress. We have decided as a company 2 things. We are sending out a letter letting our customers know about the issue. In the letter we are letting them we will be replacing the filter at no charge. They can bring in the machine and we will inspect the throttle body, install a new foam filter properly oiled. We are also pondering purchasing a extended warranty for each customer to insure suzuki will pay for a motor problem if that occurs. I will post again in few days with suzuki's answer to us. The heat is on!!!!!!!

 

That is awesome, i wish all dealerships were on the ball like that. im curious what will happen.

Great news!

Could you post who you talked to at Suzuki, so i can get my dealership to try and start the same initiative.
It's obvious that they are hearing complaints, but dealerships have MUCH more firepower than individuals.

I greatly appreciate your stand on this with us. It's crazy for them to send 7K machines out with bad filtering that eventually destroys and engine.

You can PM me if you dont want to announce it to everyone.

p.s.- Could you please edit your title to read "(King Quad) filter problem --update", so that everyone knows what you are referring to?
