Electrical Problem
#1
My '04 z400 has power everywhere, (lights, Neutral light, etc..) but it has no power to the engine. Acts like the switch is off. Replaced CDI box, but no change. Could someone give suggestion
#3
I push the starter button and its like there is no power. nothing happens but everything else works. when I tried to jump it off it acted like switch was off. took switch apart seems to have good contacts. Checked fuse, it's good.

Update:
Engine will not turn over at all with the starter button. key switch is on and the run switch is on.
Tried to roll and jump it off motor turns no fire.
First guess was that CDI box was bad. Installed SRP CDI rev box. (ooooh way wrong $179.00 guess)
Tried to hot start starter from battery straight to starter. starter turns over, still no start.
Jumped accros the starter relay, motor turns no fire. (thanks 03Z400 riderText
Checked Clutch switch with ohm meter. Switch tested good.
Any more suggestions. I am going to check some more places for continuity, and physical broken wires, but on my first go over i seen nothing jump out at me.
This one is causing me to miss windrock ride today. (maybe next time)
