Just keep that piston away from the head. We all want a full ride report on this thing soon. I can't imagine the power increase you've made.

Maybe I can take apart another gasket and insert a layer into my 3 layer gasket. That would be closer to .040 squish.

Keep it torqued down and maybe you won't blow it out again! Did you happen to do a compression test after the rebuild?

Yeah, but it was yesterday right after the squeaking sound developed. I could kick it to just above 150 psi, then it would leak back down before I could kick it higher. Now I know why.

14.7 x 10.25:1 = 150.675 psi. 11:1 = 161.7 psi. I'm in there somewhere.

I really need to get mine running again. It has set up since before my son was born. He's 4 now. Im sure the carb is cruddy and tank needs a serious cleaning.
