If u have trouble starting in warm situations why are u wanting a smaller pilot ??? My carb is set up with 20 pilot and 245 main and is not optimal without my big bore. I went to stock carb jetted 25 and 135 with a 250 s needle</end quote></div>

The 20 pilot/ 245 main on big bore was that on the TM28? Trying to get a good starting point on my big bore. What elevation r u?Thanks</end quote></div>

500ft. Also specified that on the jetting when sudco did it

Question was for qs270, he had the same big bore....
I appreciate all your info as well, but his old set up is closer to mine.

My goal is to have a rich situation for break in, THEN i will go for perfection on the jetting.

That guy says it works and has the proof you just can't argue with... You could do worse I think.

Because I have a hard time starting when warm. Think about it. If you use a choke when its cold outside, then you need to do the opposite when its hot. So, I need a smaller pilot.</end quote></div>

if u use the choke does it start easier? my elevation is round 1000 ft.
