So I'll tape the airbox up and you think that will get it to start? Do you suppose it was just sucking too much air and the mix was too lean?

And for the pipe I'll only have to adjust the main jet size? That would make sense since we could get it to idle once it was hot.
If your only goal is getting it to start, then let the suzuki engineers do the work for you and put everything back like it was when it rolled out of the factory.

Holes in the airbox will affect all the jets whereas the pipe should only affect the main and maybe the needle.

Idling only when hot indicates the carb is tuned on the lean side (pilot jet too small or mixture screw turned in too far or airbox lid with holes in it).

I would, but I don't have the stock exhaust, and the old pipe off of mine is in three pieces. I guess I'll start with covering up the airbox lid Thursday night and see what happens.

You been able to get anything done on yours lately?

I haven't done anything. Still raining and now its not even warm anymore. Its 36 right now and I'm stressing out a bit if its gonna frost and kill all the blueberries and cherries like it did in 2007.

It won't be the end of the world if the frost gets them, but look:

That was a once a day haul for about a month.

I froze a bunch and they're like little blueberry popsicles that everybody likes at parties and get-togethers. I sold about 20-30 quarts for $3 or $4 each and gave all anybody wanted to friends n family. 2008 was a good year for fruit!

34 degrees now.... Nail biting time.

It still cold up here too. Its getting down to the upper 20's at night! I'm ready for a little bit warmer weather, that's for sure.

I've got Friday off this week so after my calc test on thursday I get to go home and tinker! I've got a big box of goodies to put on mine and I'll see if I can get that other 230 running. I'll put on my 13/39 sprockets, new Primary Drive O-Ring Chain, some fresh synthetic ATV oil, fresh oil filter, and I splurged and got that 6.99 vented gas cap breather! lol

Anyone here a computer buff? I'm going to need a new computer before I'm done with school since I won't have this computer provided by my school after I transfer out.

I just bought this one. As a matter of fact, I just carried it in from the porch, lol.

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...1&Sku=B69-0049

Its the same one my friend paid over $2000 for 2 yrs ago. Should fly like greased lightning.

And I highly recommend one of these: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...0&Sku=H94-2801

I liked the first one so much, I just bought another one.

$567 for 28 inch monitor, 2.6ghz dual-core cpu, 3 gig memory, DVI output intergrated video card, case, power supply, fan, keyboard, 5-button laser mouse. I have a harddrive already and dvd drive. Great deal if you ask me. Its 2 times faster than what I really need and those monitors are cool!

I would never buy the top of the line computer because its going to go down in value so fast, its a rip off. Surely not for just watching charts and posting on forums!

Hard to beat Tiger for computers.... Here's the laptops: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...-_-cat_17-_-CV
