Here's some specs on it:

Arctic Cat 2006 DVX 400 TS

372 lb dry weight isn't bad for a liquid cooled motor!
I guess not, but by the time you pile on a battery, all that water, oil, and gas... You're well over 400. The yamaha 450 weighs 405 wet. Not bad for the size of these things though. The 700 weighs 422 wet. The quadzilla was barely over 300 wet.

Dang, just over 300? That's pretty crazy, but the 2-stroke motors seem so much smaller.

It is, but powerwise, its equivalent to a 800, 900, 1000cc 4-stroke.

The 450's are about like the old 250 quadracers.... Well, maybe the 450's have a bit more lowend grunt, but topend the 250's would haul when that powerband from a good pipe hit!

I was riding my 230 a little this afternoon. Jets shipped today so I should have the thing fine tuned by the middle of next week. This thing is crazy ballsy! First and second gear will carry the front end if you get on the throttle too much. I had it in third breifly, but don't have the room here to open it up. Need to take it to my buddies. Is that true of all 230's? I can tell the timing chain cover and valve cover have been off, so it's got at least a new timing chain, if not a cam as well.... Will get up some pics soon. Just re-pained all the plastics black, used to be red from the factory. Plus it came with new Black Widow's on the back, and nice lugs on the front.

Yeah, that's why everyone that rides them ends up hooked.... Until they ride a 400 anyway.

What kind of paint did you use?

The power these little 230cc motors put out is stunning. I always used to think my Ozark and the Outlander 400 were pretty quick, but dang. Not even close.

Looking forward to the pics!

Speaking of paint, my front shock paint has held up amazingly! You really get what you pay for when it comes to paint.

Sometimes you can get away with going cheaper, but there are a few things such as: batteries, paint, and tape where if you go cheap, its absolutely junk.

I only buy something other than Duracells if the store doesn't stock them!

Yeah, duracells would be my choice too. Seems like they last longer than the rest. Due to rechargables, though, I don't think I've bought a regular battery in the better part of a decade.

Always looking for that perfect paint, so when someone mentions paint around here, I aways ask about it.

Kind of a cool bumper on this 250R:

Suzuki Quad 250R FAST,FAST,FAST!

I'm thinking of just taking the $1100 for mine. Its not a bad deal and the actual trade value will be $1173 with the tax stuff. So that's not bad at all. I was planning on accepting a deal for $1200 anyways.
