Yes I've got all 5 gears, I got plenty of power I can pull a wheelie in 3rd gear. I wonder if they changed the tranny in the later years to gear it down cuz mine is an 88 and I know that yours was a 86. IDK cuz my sprockets and chain are brand new and adjusted right. I do get up to fifth gear and it feels like I've got loads of rpms for a 6th gear.

Here's the DVX with the fenders removed! Looks pretty good w/o the fronts, but I like them all on the best.

Anyone interested in a .zip file of all the parts diagrams for an 86? Same as whats on the site, just all bundled up for your own comp.

If your burning oil you need to re-ring your piston the lower ring is letting oil up into the cylinder. Or just bore it out and put Do you foul plugs quickly? I have no clue about the short but I think that might work. |
