Default 85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.

In an earlier post on this thread, I mistakenly said I had a 13/39 combo. I actually had a 38 rear now that I think about it. I got the 38 from Kraus racing. It was an aluminum sidewinder brand (wouldn't recommend aluminum. I was young and dumb at the time.) Anyway, they told me I could get any size I wanted when I ordered. I actually requested a 37 rear, but they gave me a 38. However, the sprocket had "self cleaning" grooves (marketing gimmick) notched in it between every other tooth which required an even number of teeth. Had I ordered a 36, I probably would have gotten what I wanted.

That's quite a collection there. Any of the 230S's for sale? No problem if not, were actually looking more along the lines of a 300ex because we don't have a honda in the family anymore, but if opportunity comes, I'd take another 230 in a heartbeat. Personally I'd like a LT250R or at least ride and drive one of those and a 500R. 2 strokes don't fit our riding style as well as a 4 stroke but if i had one, I'd ride it just as much as the 4 strokes.

if u extend the swingarm and have ur factory shock the same distance from the swingarms pivot point it will make ur shoock wayy to soft, will just tightening down the coil make up for this enough?

I just did, You have mail!

I do not get on this site much anymore do to work cracking down on user time. It is expected, just dont' like it. anyway I am glad this post is still alive. It used to be hit or miss as to when there was 230 info on here. I am going to need a new axle carrier for mine soon as my fix for the brake caliper mounting ear did not work as I wanted.
