I have a yoshi slip on iwth K&N with outerwear lid off.. what jetting mods do i need to do?

 

what year is you z? yes it makes a diff. you have leaned it out with pipe and filter, prob not to much. are you going with a jet kit or are you just going to buy jets at a dealership (mikuni)?

look at my mods , i have a 05 and have mukini jets(160 main and full turn on my air/fuel screw). my carb is diff. from 03-04,05-06 the same. jet kits have diff. jets. i live in texas so my jetting maybe diff. because alt.

 

im from massachusetts.. i was gona jsut get a 170 main and two turns on my screw thats what localyoshi said...but my dealer is full of dicks and wont let me buy individual jets so i just got a whole jet kit and am going to have them jet the whole carb..i have mikuni andits an 03

i went to the local yam. dealer and got 150 155 160 165 mukini mains, mine came with a 130 or 35??. they were like 2 dollars a piece. i opened my air/fuel 1 turn , haven't done anything to my needle or pilot. running real good right now ,so won't touch till i have to.

 

was it hard to get to the main jets? and wheres the air fuel screw..didnt get a manual with my bike..used

 

four screws on the bottom of the bowl , THEY ARE WEAK!!! turn slowly(go to lowe's and buy some little allen screws
my air/fuel is cover up(05), if you look at the bottom of the bowl(lid on) it's to the side(down a tube) the 05's
have a copper cover on them, if yours have it pm me and i'll tell you how to get it off.

i took my main jet to the yam. dealer told them it was a mikuni carb, there is diff jets so.... take one in so they
can match it up.
