I gotta real important question and need an answer ASAP. I'm going to work in the high north for a few months, leaving in two days, just bought a King Quad for the sake of EFI and the cold weather I'm going to encounter. I really want to run synthetic oil before I go up to minimize engine damage on cold start-ups, but I only put 5 hours on it so far for break-in. How long should I wait before using synthetic oil? 10 hrs, 20 hrs, 50 hrs? Will the rings seat if I use synthetic too soon? I've been breaking it in quite gently, maybe I should drive it harder to speed up the seating process before putting the syth in? Please help, I don't want to jeopardize the long-term longevity of this great quad. It it just a great overall package at an unbelieveable price.
