Default Steering Stabilizer Intalled......... wow!

I installed the Denton Stabilizer on the KQ and it worked out well.
I had to do quite a bit of filling of the steering column clamp and
purchased longer bolts on that clamp to make it fit. The steering
column is larger than what this damper was designed for, but it
sure makes the KQ handle like a Cadillac!

There are the links for my install photos:

So you are grinding the stabilizer or the King Quad? How much? What setting are you using? Where from? Does it require more effert to turn now?

I got some $$ burning a hole in my pocket but can't decide what for.

I had to grind the stabilizer clamp that raps around and attaches to the steering columb.
Different settings for various terrain..... I'll need to play around with it.

No more effort to turn. It just will not jerk the handlebars when you hit the rough spots.

the new dirtwheels has one on a KQ750 bolted to one of the front rack down tubes. I dont think they had to mod it.

Worth the effort and money for an average rider; hauling wood, trails, etc.?

I consider myself an average rider. We ride many terrains, rough desert trails, rocky washes, forest trails, mountain trails.
I had my KQ roll over on me when my when I lost the handle bars after hitting a ridge and that's not going to happen again.

It is a very cheap and significant improvement for $140
