Default Cooll Head or Powerhead

I have a few questions about a cool head or power head would do for my bike. My bike is stock except for fmf pipe and jetting...1988LT500

Are they worth the money?
Do they make the bike run cooler?
Do they give you more power?
If you have one which one and would you buy it again?
Are they better then the stock head?

Thanks Lottery...

Not really
No
No
No, had one, sold on fleabay.
Yes, but only because the stock head is a bad design... the stock heads are prone to detonation, but this can easily be corrected by some simple machine work... and for much less $$ than the 'cool heads'.

my $.02

like dune said

it only made a few degrees difference on mine
no . unless you do more modifycation and get the smaller dome . (if you mod yours and shave they stock head and modify it it will work just fine)
none of the ones you listed sold mine on ebay also
and dune is again very correct . yes only because of little issues with the stock head .

mine as well as dunes $.02
