I just recentally purchased a 99 quadrunner 500 manual from a friend of mine. the bearings in the front differential are out and i am in the process of replacing these. I was wondering if there is some type of disconect like the warn 424 available?
Also from those of you who have experience with this bike, what size of tire will it turn? is there anything i should know about it? thanks for the help :help2:

 

I have a 98 LT500F, no idea about the warn 424 product. Had a couple buddies that had this same bike also, they both ran 25" tires without a problem, bear claws I believe.
Mines all stock though, even got the original tires on it, haven't done anything except oil, filters, fluids, and plugs since I bought it new. Been a great bike for me.

 

Hi. I have the exact same bike you do. I'm also interested in a 424 kit. I just wanted to let you know that I'm running 28" gators on mine but, I have wheel spacers a 2" lift a k&n intake , Jet kit and an aftermarket exhaust. But considering that it pulls them just fine. is a 2 inch lift kit necessary to fot the 28 inch tires? i am interested in the modifications u have, what type of exaust is it and did u do the mods before or after the tires?

 

Hi. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure the lift and wheel spacers are required to fit 28" tires. The mods and tires were pretty much done at the same time. I'm sorry but I can't recall what brand the exhaust is. I really enjoy the performace aquired from the mods. It out performs alot of other atv's and I know it's faster than the 2004 polaris 700.
