My kq 300 wont run at all, doesnt even try to fire up. Good spark and have tried all fuel settings, including prime just wont start. Could it be vapor lock? Or possibly something different?

The intake valves on those motors are known to tighten up, which dramaticly reduces the compression. Check the valve clearance.

When i pull on the recoil, there is a definite amount of pressure. If the valve was stuck open, wouldnt it be very easy to pull? And thanx for the response.

The only sure way to know,is the check the clearance. You could try a compression test, and if you find its low, then for sure check the valves first. They dont have to be open much for you to loose enough compression to make it hard to start.
Even with low compression, it should bump start...have you tried that?
If you open up the drain on the carb float bowl...does gas dribble out the tube?

Yes i tried to pop start it yesterday multiple times without success. It did start once yesterday, drove for about 100 ft then stalled and wouldnt start. It hasnt really been ran in about a month, just been trying it on and off kinda half a$$ed. I think my next step is gonna be to clean the carb, and check my float.

Its also posible the pilot jet is plugged up, or the idle speed is too low.
If it sat for awhile, and the gas was left on, the pilot jet sounds real likely. Try to bump start it, by holding the throttle at 1/4 open. If it starts and runs, but dies when you left off the throttle...its a plugged pilot jet
