best pipe for z400
#11
I know quite a few people on another forum with the pulsecharger and they all say hands down it's the best pipe they've ever had. And that's saying alot from these guys who have ran just about every pipe known to man.
A Pulsecharger with an FCR made 43 HP (that's pretty darn good)
DYNO
Also the Looney pipes look cool, but they do add a LITTLE extra weight and really don't provide any advantage over any other full pipe.

I've had the full yoshi/Suzuki pipe on my '03 Z400 since day one and have never had a problem with it. While racing the quad this past year and hearing my friends that race in the 450 open class on YSF's, they love both the Yoshi and Thunder Alley pipes. Thunder Alley has a bit larger header then the aftermarket Yoshi so you may want to look into them.
I also have heard that Hetrick Racing puts out a good Z400 pipe although I have never ridden or seen dyno charts first had for them. I mention Hetrick since I know they have their pipes built at Pro-One and they make good beefy sounding pipes although they tend to rust due to sacrificing size vs weight due to using a little thiner in their headers. Pro One are the ones that took the Toomey pipes for banshee/blasters, tweaked it a bit and then sold it to CT. And it's common knowledge how CT pipes rust after about a year or so depending on conditions of course.

money is not a problum just as long as its under like $650 its fine. i think the trinity pipe looks good and the ct pipe makes the z have like 35+ hp i also am thinking about the hmf. if anybody can tell me how much hp the yosh pipe gives that would be awsome
