Hello all! My name is Joe and a buddy and i are looking into getting some trail quads. We have looked around and narrowed it down to these two but we are having a hard time deciding. They will be mainly used for trail riding, dunes, and just having fun. They MIGHT see a lil track action but that is very doubtful. I am just lookin for opionions from people that actually have these quads. Thanks for all the input!

 

i would say the Z400, the predators are kinda heavy.

 

z400 just because i like suzuki over the predator

 

the pred.are quik bot they are heavy and big, any tight trails maybe hard to weave through.they do have good power(good dunner). i would get a newer 1 , i heard the gear box sucked on some of the 1st.

id have to go z!!! so many hop ups(predator does not have alot)!!!! you can make them really fast . i love how my kfx rides. thought about yfz(great power-sucky seat), but if i had it to do again id still go kfx/z.

id throw out the pred and think about z or 700 raptor.

If speed is a consideration the predator is faster than the Z400. But if youre not looking for the most power, when it comes to feel and comfort the Z400 is a cadilac compared to the predator.

 

if you buy any polaris product, dont plan on being in the sport over a couple years because it will completely fall apart. even the people who own polaris will tell you that.....

I like the z myself although the predators are pretty quick they are to heavy

 

the z is a little slower but i have owned mine for 1 year now and i love it lots of mods great all round quad the are also really reliable
