For all the z250 ownes that tried sending out request for more parts for our bike it paid off my request was put in the new dirtwheels it is on page 54 at the bottom left hand corner K.Dominguez. When i sent the request i didint expect for it to show up in the magazine but like my brother said it did and now all big name brand companies will see that and maybe take out request serious. so hopefully we didint stop sending request and we can make this work.

They already offer just about every performance mod for it already except a rev box...cams, pistons, headers, exhaust... i know cause i have everything you can do, done...except for a higher compression piston....which i ordered today....

If you go to the forum Z250s and start reading around page 25 you will find alot of info. You can also join in on help us try and get more aftermarket parts for our bike. It has phone numbers of companies where i bought my parts. i just put my wiseco piston in a few days ago and i made a huge difference. The problem that i have is it stays on the rev limiter. I'm working on trying to overcome that.....just jump to that forum and you will get lots of answers.

www.webcamshafts.com for the cam. wiseco for the piston. I used a 350 rancher carb that i had to modify. I don't know the top speed just yet. It would only do 55 on the rev limiter in 5th gear with 20" tires. I have 22" on there now but have not had a chance to see just yet. It went 58mph on a short stretch and was still pulling. I have picked up about 6-7mph in every gear with the taller tires, so i speculate it will do about 61-62 mph limited by the rev limiter. It would do 45 in 4th on rev limiter with 20" tires. It will do 52 now on the limiter in 4th with taller tires. It has plenty of power to go faster, but the rev limiter is too low. No one makes a rev box for this bike.

The piston part number is 4382MO6600 for standard bore. If you need oversize, call wiseco at 1-800-321-1364 ext. 3105 and ask for oversize part number. The carb just took a lil ingenuity to make work. I would not recommend it to a novice.
